Graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Computer Science from the University of Exeter, a Russell Group university.
Dissertation
My final year dissertation involved the development of a web application designed to visualise the locations of natural hazards reported through Twitter posts. I developed the project using Angular, TypeScript and Mapbox for the frontend and Python / Django on the backend. I was responsible for selecting and justifying my software choices, designing and developing the application to a deadline, and deploying the final build onto AWS using EC2 and RDS.
